CWKPQ prequests and Mark of Heroism

I made this simple prequest for leading the CWKPQ guide, since many of you are doing it/going to do it. Also a guide for the Mark of Heroism, which allows you to skip the JQ completely. I hope it helps! c:

A good idea is to start the Mark of Heroism quest before getting on with CWKPQ leader pre-quests since it saves you time. However, please note that you can't do the Mark of Heroism quest before the leader pre-quests.

Mark of Heroism

1. Go to John Barricade, he's located in Big Ben. Accept the "Mark of Heroism" quest.

2. You need 4 Typhon Feathers, 10 Gold Ores and 1 Power Crystal Ore. The Typhon Feathers drop from Typhons, which can be found in The Path of Peril. To get there you go to Lower Ascent, then all the way up. Take the portal at the top and you'll get there.

3. When you're done, go back to John Barricade and finish the quest. Now you have the Mark of Heroism! When you have this, the statues in the JQ becomes portals. Just go through them until you get to the end of it. It seems like you might end up right where the totem passes, so watch out for that.

CWKPQ leader guide

1. Head over to Lukan, he's located in Phantom Forest: Phantom Road. Might be tricky to get there, so I've linked a map over the area at the end of the post. Now when you get to Lukan, you accept "The Brewing Storm". You'll have to collect 10 Stormbreaker badges. A good map for Stormbreakers is Stormhall, it's located in Hall of Mastery (where we start CWKPQ), down right.

2. To save more time, don't use a nearest town scroll. Instead, go back to Lower Ascent (the map after 2nd part of the JQ). There'll be a rocky cave at the far left, which leads you to Cavern of Pain. Talk to Jack Barricade and accept "Stemming the Tide."

3. When you've accepted "Stemming the Tide," head back to Lukan and finish "The Brewing Storm". Then, accept the quest called "Storming the Castle." You need to kill 75 Nightshadows, Firebrands and Windraiders. Again, the maps in Hall of Mastery are good for this. The maps on the left side of the gigantic statue spawn these three monsters.

4. When you're done, finish it at Lukan. You'll be given a Crimsonwood Keystone, save it. Then go back to Jack Barricade and finish "Stemming the Tide." Talk to him again, accept and finish the PQ quest.

5. When you're gonna start, you need the Crimsonwood Keystone and 12 Crimsonheart stones that drops from Crimson Guardians. You don't need new stones for every PQ.
After this, you're ready to go!

I kinda feel like doing these quests even though I'm probably shit at leading. f3 *couldn't even do the jq* <<< I SRSLY WENT BACK ON MY OWN AND FKING DID IT. D:< Now be proud.

I've noticed that some people have trouble with the JQ, or just getting to the CWKPQ in general (not in mjauz or something). I want to bump this, things would go much better for you all if you did the Mark of Heroism quest, or at least had a map to look at so you know how to get there. It's not really hard to understand tbh, just ask me if you need help.

I just googled, and I came to this topic. I got to say everything is very detailed and helps a lot!

Just a few tips:
You can't do Mark of Heroism before "Stemming the Tide". Doing number 1 of MoH is very smart though!

Perhaps indeed adding the way you can walk etc, might help others in advance =)

Thanks for this, Desi C: Finally got my mark and keystone c:

but, i had to finish the leader quests before being able to do the mark of heroism quest, though.
Any thoughts on that?

Ah right, that's what Emre mentioned but I never edited it. I'll do it now. And I didn't really know before, because I just did the leader quests and then Vince told me to go do the MoH quests, and I was just like okmastah.
